About ICNC

Founded in 2002, the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict (ICNC) is an independent, nonprofit educational foundation that develops and encourages the study and use of civilian based, nonmilitary strategies to establish and defend human rights, democratic self-rule and justice world wide. Acting as a catalyst to stimulate interest in nonviolent conflict, ICNC works with an extensive network of educators, organizers, journalists, and nongovernmental organizations around the world to develop and disseminate knowledge about strategic nonviolent action.
